Meet Shad Murphy, the new Assistant Controller/Accounting Supervisor at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort! Shad joined the Resort family in September, and we are thrilled to have him on the team! Mr. Murphy grew up in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley and brings extensive business experience and hospitality expertise to the Resort. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance and has over 20 years of accounting experience, most of which are in hotels and resorts. His background includes working for the Aspen Club & Spa and the Westin and Wildwood Hotels in Snowmass Village. Shad has a daughter who lives in the Valley, and outside of work, they enjoy all of the adventures this beautiful area has to offer, including skiing, hunting, fishing, dirt biking, mountain biking, and just being outdoors. Glenwood Hot Springs Resort extends the warmest welcome to Shad. We couldn’t be more delighted to have you onboard!
